- Physically capable of lifting or moving heavy objects.
- Sufficiently mobile to ensure the safety of students.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to use a telephone and data entry.
- Read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids.
- Hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone.
- Speak in audible tones so that others understand clearly in person and on the telephone.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned by the administrative team, to ensure the efficient, effective functioning of the school environment.
Working Environment:
This position requires the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and fine finger dexterity.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous custodial and grounds experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasks
- Possess working knowledge of the methods, techniques, and materials used in custodial work
- Ability to climb ladders and work from heights
- Familiar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and supplies
